How it works

Five seconds, start to finish

1Oil ignites; flame temperature rises past the bulb rating (68 °C rated, detects 68–183 °C).

2The fusible glass bulb shatters — purely mechanical, no power or wiring involved.

3Pressurised driver (0.8 ± 0.05 MPa) pushes the Class F agent through the atomizing nozzle.

4Fine mist hits the burning oil, saponifies into a foam blanket — flame out in 1–5 s, no oil splash.

5Optional thermal link trips the gas shut-off valve; pan stays sealed until you clear it.

Installation

Mounted in three steps, no electrician

1Mark two fixing points on the wall 10 cm below the hood, drill (or glue) the brackets.

2Clip the cylinder on, 60–70 cm above the cooktop — matches the standard 80 cm hood-to-stove gap.

3Angle each nozzle at the centre of its pot (≈40 cm coverage circle, fits a 35 cm wok). Done.
